Vicki Collins is a historian, journalist, and apprentice sandwich maker. She has written for the Washington Post, U.S. News & World Report, and the Los Angeles Times. Vicki studied anthropology at the University of Chicago and has a Ph.D. in history from the University of Southern California. She has received various academic awards, including a Guggenheim Fellowship and a NASA aerospace history fellowship.
