Join us as we welcome Laura LeMoon, Amira Yasmeen, Tara Burns, Aegor Ray, and Sera Miles for a group reading, celebrating the release of Laura LeMoon's new collection A Thousand Little Deaths!


Laura LeMoon is a Queer sex worker, trafficking survivor, writer and author. Her activism, interviews and essays have been featured in the Huffington Post, Rolling Stone, Associated Press, NBC, VICE, Broadly and others. Her debut book A THOUSAND LITTLE DEATHS (Weasel Press) was named by Lambda Literary as one of the most anticipated poetry releases of November 2020 and has been among the top 100 in gay and lesbian poetry on Amazon. She lives in Seattle, WA with her rescue pup Coco Bean.


Amira Yasmeen is an artist, writer, lover and dreamer. She is a portal to recognizing one’s own inherent worth and dignity. She is the founder of the Heaven On Earth app, a supportive private spiritual healing community and professional development portal for sex workers, sexual assault survivors and our allies. Honoring her nomadic lineage, she has traveled and lived all over occupied Turtle Island before rooting down in New Orleans. You may also know her as the Palestinian Peace Princess, the Sacred Stripper, a Hoe-listic Healer and founder of Holistic Healing For Hoes, channel for the Goddess Isis and Isis Reiki, author of zines like Love Letter To A Pimp, Hoes Need Love Too and The Iconoclast: Revolutionary Love Poems, and the voice behind the podcast Majnooni Confessions. Always controversial and always willing to unapologetically state her truth, she opens up space for so many more Arab baddies, Muslim hoes and unconventional healers to do the same.


Tara Burns is a whore revolutionary at the intersection of changing laws and reclaiming narratives. She was a co-founder of the Community United for Safety and Protection and helped to make historic changes to Alaska's sex trafficking and prostitution laws.


Aegor Ray is a writer, interdisciplinary artist and organizaer with Sex Workers Outreach Project Minneapolis. His work has appeared in Peach Mag, Cosmonauts Ave, Bright Wall/Dark Room and BOMB mag. Ray is writing a collection of transexual speculative fiction and paranormal romance stories.


Sera Miles (AKA Sarah E. Azizi) is a queer, Iranian-American sex worker, writer, edtor, activist and educator. She finished her MFA at U of New Mexico 2006. Previous publications include $spread magazine, Phoebe: An Interdisciplinary Journal of Feminist Scholarship, 34th Parallel, Blue Mesa Review, and Clean Sheets Magazine.
