Daniel Edward Moore describes Waxing the Dents thusly: "On this long road to somewhere, which I call “relationships,” regardless of the vehicle given, dents will be made and received. Poetry is how I’ve learned to wax those wounded, rusty, places, to own their presence by making them shine as brightly as their crash."

Daniel lives in Oak Harbor, Washington on Whidbey Island.

Praising the Paradox is a full collection of fifty-six poems reflecting on the concept of self, loss, fragility, and the constructs we must create in order to face the transient nature of life was named a finalist in the National Poetry Series, The New Issues Poetry Prize, The Four Way Books Intro Prize, and others.

Tina Schumann is a pushcart nominated poet and the author of three poetry collections. She is a poetry editor with Wandering Aengus Press, assistant director of and a graduate of the Rainier Writing Workshop at Pacific Lutheran University.
