Cindy Baldwin - Beginners Welcome (in conversation with Sarah Allen)

Join us on Tuesday, February 25 as we welcome Cindy Baldwin in conversation with Sarah Allen. They will be discussing Cindy's new young adult novel, Beginners Welcome.

After her daddy's death, Annie Lee decided to stay invisible so nobody can hurt her again. But when she meets Ray, an elderly pianist whose music is pure magic, she must decide: can she open her heart to music and friendship, and be the brave, wise version of herself once more?

CINDY BALDWIN is the critically acclaimed author of Where the Watermelons Grow (an Oregon Spirit Book Award Honor, Indies Introduce, and Indie Next title) and Beginners Welcome.  As a middle schooler, she kept a book under her bathroom sink to read over and over while fixing her hair or brushing her teeth, and she dreams of writing the kind of books readers can’t bear to be without. She lives near Portland, Oregon, with her husband and daughter.

SARAH ALLEN's debut, What Stars Are Made Of, comes out in March.
