Wendy Gorton - 50 Hikes With Kids

May 11, 2019 - 3:00pm

Seward Park

Families, bring your littles to Seward Park on a beautiful May Saturday -- we'll kick off our workshop with a reading of a nature story book and look at maps and how you read maps and plan for a hike! We'll have stickers and free maps of Washington that you'll get to put a "dream dot" on somewhere you want to hike one day! Then, we'll take our "nature journals" and go for a walk around Third Place books -- we'll be looking for different-shaped leaves, rocks, and other natural elements and mark them on our map when we find them.
