Third Place Books Seward Park is thrilled to have Mike Withey, author of Summary Execution:  The Seattle Assassinations of Silme Domingo and Gene Viernes, speak and sign books on Thursday, July 12th at 7pm.  Mike’s book describes the decade-long struggle by the Committee for Justice for Domingo and Viernes against the Marcos regime who was found to have murdered the two anti-Marcos union activists in Seattle on June 1, 1981 by a federal court jury in 1989.  This is the first and only time a foreign head of state has been held liable for the murders of US citizens on
