COVID-19 FAQ for In-Person Events

Does Third Place Books require proof of COVID-19 vaccination for in-person events?

Third Place Books no longer requires proof of vaccination for in-person events. Third Place Books joins arts organizations across the Seattle metro area in updating our policies according to new state and county guidelines for public health.

Why does Third Place Books ask for registration for free events?

While we don't check registration at the door for free events, we highly recommend registering in advance. Registration allows us to predict interest in our author events, and helps us determine when we need to change venues should demand increase unexpectedly. Should we have to cancel an event, registration also allows us to contact all interested customers. We will attempt to reschedule any author event canceled due to illness.

Does Third Place Books livestream events? Are your in-person events recorded?

Third Place Books is unable to livestream every event on our in-person calendar. Livestream options will be advertised in our event listings when this option is available. Click here to watch recently recorded events on our YouTube Channel.
