About the Author
Jacob Ludwig Carl Grimm (1785-1863) and Wilhelm Carl Grimm (1786-1859) first published their collected folk tales in Germany in the early nineteenth century. The initial collection was revised many times during their lifetimes, and the ever-popular stories have been translated into 160 languages.
