Peter Schmeeckle Sextet - Hard Bop & Soul Jazz

Created in the tradition of drummer-led groups such as Art Blakeys'
Messengers and Tony Williams' Quintet, the Peter Schmeeckle Sextet
reflects the rich hard-bop/soul jazz songbook while injecting plenty of
original music into the genre.  The band is comprised of some of
Seattles most dynamic players including Jazz Hall of Famer Phil Sparks
on bass and trumpet ace R. Scott Morning.
